I love Science Fiction Art, and so, the idea of a space ship that is in the shape of a crescent moon held a fascination to me. If you notice, the “Man” is working to the complete the ship up top. The dock door opens and a shuttle is revealed, held in place by a magnetic field. The switches on the base control the red, blinking running lights, interior light and blue “Force Field” L.E.D.s under the base.

The main body is of the ship is all from one Tasur Birch board that I resawed for 1/8” veneer. The cockpit has mahogany. Snakewood. Walnut, Maple, and Indian Rosewood veneer. The base is Mexican Royal Ebony. There are also various electronic and metal found objects. The clear canopy is Acrylic. 47” tall x 18” deep x 30” wide.
