Drawing and Painting

These works are for sale unless otherwise marked.

I’m still working on adding works. My formal art training began in College, my parents wanted me to become an engineer or a doctor. They could not see how an Artist could make a living. So I started thinking I would become an Architect, but soon found it would be very little creative and a lot of engineering.

I had a great drawing professor, Paul Clervi, and took 7 out my 8 main semesters figure drawing. He impressed on me the importance of keeping one’s drawing skills honed.   My watercolor professor was George Tutt, He said “Don’t even think about being good till you’ve done a thousand paintings” and told us we have to do 100 paintings during each semester.
